Billed as "The Biggest International Fighting Event of the Year," Enfusion Live's "Battle Arena Elimination," scheduled for Saturday, February 2nd, from 4-7 EST will bring together some of the toughest Kickboxers on the planet and be covered on MAVTV American Real Network. Taking place in Belgium, the event features six bouts, including a four-man tournament in the Heavy Weight division, the winner of which will be invited to the all-out Enfusion scheduled for Las Vegas later this year, and a fight for the women's World Championship in the 61-kilogram (134 pounds) division.
The first bout in the Heavy Weight tournament has Gaetan "La Tornade" Sautron, from France, going against Kirk Krouba, from Belgium. The formidable Sautron has 23 fights, winning 21, while Krouba has won 10 or his 11 fights and is taller and heavier than Sautron. It promises Full Contact intensity from beginning to end. The second Heavy Weight tournament bout will pit Thomas Vanneste, from Belgium, against Mohamed "Destroyer" Achahboun, from Morocco. Vanneste, a top contender wherever he goes, has won 17 of his 20 bouts. Achahboun's record is 9 wins in 16 fights; the vast majority of his wins were knockouts and he is, by far, the tallest and heaviest man in the tournament, so the others better beware.
The evening's third fight has Cenk "The Alligator" Cankurtaranoglu, from Turkey, having it out with Kevin Hesseling, of The Netherlands, in the 70-kilogram (154 pounds) division. The highly-experienced Cankurtaranoglu has 41 fights, having won 34 with 17 of those by knockouts, and has won three Belgian titles and one Flemish title. Hesseling has won 17 of his 20 fights and is ready to take "The Alligator" to the limit.
In the fourth fight Andrew "King Cobra" Tate, from the United States, will take on David "The Machine" Radeff, from France, in the 85-kilogram (187 pounds) division. They are roughly equally experienced, with Tate having a record of 30 fights with 28 wins, 22 of them by knockouts, and Radeff having 31 fights with 23 wins. Tate is an ISKA Kickboxing World Champion, and Radeff is a World K-1 Champion at 91 kilograms and the European Kickboxing Champion at 88 kilograms. Says Radeff of Tate: "He needs to learn respect; I will teach him."
The fifth bout of the night will have two women going five rounds for the World Championship, with Anke 'she Wolf" Van Gestel, from Belgium, against Ilona "The KO Specialist" Wijmans, of The Netherlands. Van Gestel, a two-time Belgian Champion, has won 22 or her 27 fights, and the more experienced Wijmans, with 33 wins in 37 bouts, has the Dutch title. With the World Championship on the line, neither of these two ferocious competitors will be expected to give either an inch or a centimeter and this fight promises to bring the enthusiastic spectators to their feet and keep them there.
The final fight will be the winners of the two earlier Heavy Weight tournament bouts, for three rounds, the winner going to Enfusion Las Vegas and a shot at the Championship. With so much on the line, it will be an event kickboxing enthusiasts won't want to miss.
All of it will be brought to the screen on MAVTV American Real Network, which brings programming enjoyable by the entire family, with an emphasis on maxed-out excitement from beginning to end.
