Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Series

Saturday, August 18 at 1:00pm ET

Corona, CA (August 9, 2018) – Round 11, "Live" from Budds Creek, Motocross Park, Mechanicsville, Maryland - the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship season enters its penultimate round. Once again the MAVTV cameras will air both the "opening" 450cc and 250cc class motos starting at 1:00pm ET on Saturday, August 18, with re-air at 4:00pm ET.

Nestled in the forest of Southern Maryland, Budds Creek is a legendary, world-class track. It's a favorite among riders and fans alike, offering both great racing lines for the riders and a layout that is ideal for spectators.

The 450 Class title is still up for grabs as the two top contenders, points leader and reigning National Champion, Eli Tomac from Cortez, CO and France's, Marvin Musquin locked in a season long battle, with Tomac holding onto a slim lead. Last week at Unadilla, NY, they swopped moto victories to keep the points spread at 15 (448 to 433).

In the 250cc division, the names are also “familiar” with Hamilton, Ohio’s Aaron Plessinger enjoying a 78-point advantage over Alex Martin from Millville, MN (415 – 337). Cold Springs Harbor, NY's Justin Cooper is trying hard to keep the leading two honest with his 291 total, but it’s been a difficult “assignment” at best.

Live coverage of the opening 450cc and 250cc motos from all 12 rounds is featured on MAVTV with expanded HD broadcast feeds to most subscribers.

The entire 12 Round Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Series is televised on MAVTV, NBC and NBC Sports Network with 36 hours of live coverage and more than 70 hours of Pro Motocross content via broadcast and digital platforms including Lucas Oil Racing TV (LORTV) - the first streaming TV motorsports network.
