Corona, CA (November 28, 2018) – Don't miss the finals of the Rocky Mountain/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships, Presented by Lucas Oil - airing on MAVTV as a two-parter. Part 1 will air on Saturday, December 1, at 12:00pm (noon), with Part 2 airing on Saturday, December 15 at 12:00pm (noon).

Considered the finaI stop for amateurs before they join the professional ranks, Loretta Lynn's is the world's largest and most prestigious amateur motocross racing championship. Contestants must qualify through a series of area events competing in one of Loretta's 37 racing classes. Only the best 42 riders in each class get an invitation to compete.

Consisting of 57 Area Qualifiers (February through May) and 13 Regional Championships (May through June) culminating in the National Finals (first week in August). Loretta Lynn's MX Championship has been hosted annually since 1982 at the home of country music star Loretta Lynn in Hurricane Mills, TN.

Note: This extraordinary amateur national series serves as a launch pad for some of the biggest names in professional motocross and supercross, including Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Ryan Villopoto, and Ryan Dungey.
