CORONA, CA (January 4, 2019) - MAVTV will broadcast LIVE the 33rd running of the world famous Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals presented by General Tire on Saturday, January 19 starting at 8:30pm ET. The HD broadcast features the world's best dirt car racers in action packed racing from the River Spirit Expo in Tulsa, OK.

With more than 300 entries, the 2019 Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals field has attracted top American racers including stars from Midgets, Late Model Dirt, Super Modified, World of Outlaws, NASCAR, NHRA and USAC. Drivers hail from 30 U.S. states plus international competition from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, making it the world's largest indoor race.

Back-to-back champion Christopher Bell faces the daunting task of defeating the likes of 5-time Chili Bowl champion Sammy Swindell, 2-time Chili Bowl champion Rico Abreu, Kyle Larson, Brad Sweet (Knoxville Nationals winner), Dave Darland, Damion Gardner, Jerry Coons Jr., and Kasey Kahne.

"Nobody presents grass roots racing like MAVTV," said MAVTV President Bob Patison. "Each year the Chili Bowl airing produces the highest rated shows on the network. In 2019 we expect even better results as we continue to grow our market."

The 3-hour MAVTV telecast will be anchored by Bob Dillner, with Ken Stout and Rob Klepper handling commentary and Dave Argabright working the pits.
