Poker After Dark - What Can Kill Aces The director's cut of the NBC Poker After Dark show is always an interesting cross section of poker pro thought. In addition to watching the hands viewers can see the reasons why poker pros make some of the choices behind their wins and losses.
| 2008 WSOP Diary, Main Event Day 1D: Dylan Linde and Steve Austin Are Chip Leaders So what do Dylan Linde and Steve Austin not have in common with Jennifer Tilly? Well if you include a Y chromosome and a penchant for really cute shoes, the list is probably pretty big. Specifically though, Dylan and Steve are still alive in the Main Event and Jennifer Tilly along with Ms. Duke have been eliminated. Not only are Dylan Linde and Steve Austin still hanging around in the tournament, but they are the Day 1D chip leaders.
| 2008 WSOP Forecast, Day Fourty: Expect a New Name to Rise to the Top The Day Ones are all over, and all players got a day off on Monday, so today is the day that all the survivors get to start their quest in earnest, well, half of them, anyway. Today is Day 2A of the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event (and day 40 overall of the WSOP) and those that did not bust out from Day 1A and Day 1B get to come back and try to survive. The 20,000 starting stack seems to benefit the pros for the most part, as the better players typically get more mileage out of deeper stack and longer levels.
| Poker After Dark - Tilly Talks Herself Into It Jennifer Tilly never thinks the big blind has a good hand, and that often proves her downfall. In this particular hand during NBC's show Poker After Dark it was Couples Week, and her better half, Phil "Unabomber" Laak, had already busted out.
| Poker After Dark - The Italian Makes the Crying Call In the heads up match between David Benyamine and Marco Traniello it was France versus Italy, and both country's men wanted that top prize, the winner take all $120k.
