My home workout, ‘Fitness Beauties’ style

You can do it!
_
I’ve incorporated a MavTV program into my daily workout routine, and I’m pleased to say I’m finally motivated to actually stick to it rather than just sitting in front of this computer screen all day getting fat.
I’m the first to admit I am a connoisseur of beautiful woman, which is a fancy way of saying I like to look at pretty girls. No crime in that, right? But it’s considered rude to stare at a hot girl at your actual gym while she’s doing her thing…
Staring is what “Fitness Beauties” is all about — letting your eyes roam every inch of some young hottie looking so fine wearing her workout gear, her long hair up in a ponytail, her chest heaving and her tanned skin glistening with a layer of sweat as she works it. Even without much make-up on, she’s hot. Oh yeah, you know what I’m talking about! It’s also considered rude (so I’m told) to talk to a girl at your actual gym (as Hilda told us on “Best of the Best 3″: “If a girl is wearing headphones at the gym, don’t bother her. She’s wearing them for a reason.”).
I have to admit, I’ve always had a soft spot for a girl with a flat tummy and round corners. Impressing women like that is the reason we guys work hard to become successful at our jobs and don’t allow ourselves to become the Pillsbury doughboy.
That’s why I’ve started working out at home in front of my TV with “Fitness Beauties” playing! No, I don’t have fancy home gym equipment and I don’t exactly mimic what the girls on screen are doing like you’d normally think of with a workout show. I just use the visual of the girls on the screen as motivation to sweat and work my own muscles (get your mind out of the gutter — I’m talking about doing sit-ups and using weights on a stability ball, simple stuff like that).
I have to admit, I’ve always had a soft spot for a girl with a flat tummy. The girls on “Fitness Beauties” are like Goldilock’s poridge: Fit enough to look amazing but not so buff that they could easily pin you down if you wrestled them in the sack (unless you let them win, ha ha). And most of them look wholesome enough that you could take them home to meet mom. Unlike that icy beauty at your real gym who you aren’t allowed to look at, much less talk to, “Fitness Beauties” actually interviews each girl so we learn something fun about her. The music is also pretty good for working out, which makes sense.
I record “Fitness Beauties” each night on my Tivo and replay it each morning when I awaken and do my basic better-than-nothing workout. It may be stupid, but in my man-logic way it makes perfect sense: watching the hot girls on the show gives me the motivation to push myself hard enough to burn actual calories!
I also use this amazing app on my iPhone, THI Personal Trainer, to come up with the actual workout moves that I do. I’ve started exercising in the morning, even though I’m not a morning person, simply because it fires me up to have more energy throughout the rest of the day. I guess it is that “runner’s high” that you read about or whatever. And you know what they say about the early bird catching the worm.
I’m sure I’d be better off if I was sweating like a pig on a StairMaster at an actual gym, but at least I’m saving some cash on membership fees while enjoying some fine entertainment, MavTV-style. If you’re having trouble sticking to your own home workout, try it the “Fitness Beauties” way. You might like it!
