Fans not allowed at Toledo Speedway's upcoming ARCA races
The upcoming ARCA Menards Series races at Toledo Speedway will not allow fans, the series announced Thursday.
Toledo Speedway will host back-to-back races July 31 and Aug. 1, replacing previously canceled races at other locations in May and June. Local health officials approved the events with only essential race team and operations personnel in attendance.
The Menards.com 200 on July 31 will begin at 8 p.m., followed by the Menards 200 on Aug. 1 at 6 p.m. Both races will be televised live on MAVTV and streamed on TrackPass on NBC Sports Network.
The Friday night/Saturday night twinbill will mark the first time since 1956 the series has run a pair of races on the same weekend in Toledo. It will be the first ARCA weekend doubleheader anywhere since 2003 at Pocono.
The ARCA Menards Series East raced at Toledo in June, with Ty Gibbs taking the checkered flag in the Herr’s Potato Chips 200.
