From my humble beginnings on-air at KSHU 89.3 FM at Sam Houston State University, my resume spans 25 years. During that time I’ve been covering a big ol’ load of rock & roll and racing on major market radio stations to television networks.
I think my defining motorsports moment, besides my huevoes dropping at 12 seeing Cha Cha, was my first ride, a 1974 Gremlin. Before that, I was WFO on a Yamaha YZ80 and then graduated to a Suzuki TM100. First gear was bush but fourth was a monster. Brad Lackey would’ve been proud.

Born and raised in Indianapolis, I’ve pretty much bled motorsports since day one… and my blood type? Ethanol. 100% IndyCar grade. I lived at 16th & Georgetown each and every May. Heck, blame my Dad. He was a Medical Director at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway when I was just a kitten, so I knew the innerds of the IMS grounds almost as well as the Hulman George family themselves. From my party days at Indiana University, to marketing departments for Dick Simon Racing and PacWest Racing Group to Indy 500 Festival Princess. And now look where I am… producing and hosting one of the hottest radio & TV shows in the racing world. Wow!

I’m from Ohio, born in Columbus the morning after a dinner of fried chicken and greens. Quite literally, I was forced out by Sunday Soul Food at Grandma’s table.
Been a race fan since the primordial ooze hardened.
