It’s going to be an adrenaline-packed weekend and we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.”
The world-famous race venue, located about 100 miles northwest of Green Bay, Wisconsin, will host more than 450 Pro and Sportsman AMSOIL Championship Off-Road, ULTRA4 and Class 11 (vintage Volkswagen Beetle) series teams throughout the weekend. Fans will be treated to premier racing action from all the top off classes including Pro 2, Pro 4, Pro Lite, Pro Buggy, Pro Pro Spec, Pro SXS, ULTRA4 4400 and more.
Friday night’s MAVTV coverage will bring fans a three-hour block of live programming beginning at 6:00 p.m. ET. The Forest County Potawatomi “Friday Night Thunder” show will include ULTRA4 UTV and EMC (Every Man Challenge) categories and a Class 11 race before a Crandon Cup-style race pitting Pro Buggy versus Pro Lite trucks separated by a staggered time start.
On Saturday night, the rock racing experts from ULTRA4 hit the track under the lights for Crandon’s “Rage on the Rocks” competition on Crandon’s punishing, purpose built UltraCross rock-crawling course. Classes set to compete include the ULTRA4 Unlimited 4400 Class, 4500 Modified Class, 4700 Spec Class, 4800 Legends Class and select SxS classes. Short-course off-road racing’s biggest day of competition will take place on Sunday, September 1st as Pro category racers compete in the 9th annual Red Bull Crandon World Cup. Created by Crandon as an all-out, non-denominational day of racing, the Red Bull Crandon World Cup showcases the sport’s top professionals vying for over $200,000 in cash and prizes, including the title of Crandon World Champion.
Eight hours of live coverage will begin at 11:00 a.m. EST with the airing of the Crandon Pro 4 and Pro 2 unlimited truck World Championship races. MAVTV network coverage will also provide live broadcast programming for the ULTRA4, Pro Spec, Pro Buggy and Pro Lite Crandon World Championship.
